About Us ‣ Faculty of Medicine

The Alumni, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna was inaugurated on 19.3.1989. The membership constitutes all graduates of the Faculty, all full time and part time teachers (both present and past) and well-wishers of the Faculty. It is registered as the Non Profit/Charitable organization in Sri Lanka under the companies act No.07 of 2007 since May 2004.

The objectives of the Alumni are as follows:

To promote unity and co-operation among the members of the Alumni;
To promote and foster a close and cordial relationship among the members and between the staff and students of the Faculty of Medicine; and
To further the interest and welfare of the Faculty of Medicine.
