The QAC of UGC is conducting a Programme Review among the Faculties of Medicine of Sri Lankan Universities ensuring the Quality of the degree programmes conducted by the State Universities. The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna has to submit self-evaluation reports (SER) for the year 2023 to the UGC as part of the programme review process. Therefore, a half day workshop on PR 2023 was held on 18th October 2022 with the following objectives.
- Revisiting the Principles of Quality Assurance
- Planning the actions and strategies for Programme Review 2023
Snr. Prof. (Miss.) V. Arasaratnam, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna and Prof. M. G. Sathiadas, Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna served as Resource Persons. This was conducted through the SDC of the University of Jaffna.
