A friendly debate contest on “Individual learning or learning as a group, which is effective way of learning in medical faculty” was held on 20th of March 2023 from 2pm to 4pm at the Hoover Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna for the 45th batch students. It was collaboratively organized by PPDS & Students’ Wellbeing Centre.
Dr.S.Kumaran (Coordinator, PPDS), Dr.B.Balagobi (Coordinator, Students’ Wellbeing Centre), Mrs.Arthy Hensman (Senior Lecturer, DELT) and some student representatives were involved in the judging.
Abhiman, Sanjanie, Thuvarakan represented the Team which argued for the “studying alone is effective way of learning in medical faculty” and Sumitha, Prajoly, Hamsajini represented the Team which argued for the “studying as group is effective way of learning in medical faculty”.
Medals and gifts were awarded to the winners and for the best debaters of the contest.
