The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, and NICS-MORU officially cemented their collaboration through the signing of a Momentous Understanding at the prestigious Boardroom of the University of Jaffna on December 13th, 2023. This event saw the presence of notable individuals, including Professor S. Srisatkunarajah, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna, alongside V. Kandeepan, the Registrar of the University. Accompanying them were Professor R. Surenthirakumaran, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jaffna, Mr. N. Arumugathas, the Deputy Registrar of the said Faculty, Professor Rashanhanifa, and Mr. P. Prashanth, the Manager of the Centre for Digital Epidemiology. This collaboration promises to pave the way for innovative advancements in research, education, and healthcare, solidifying a profound commitment to excellence and progress in the field.
