The Jaffna Medical Faculty Cricket Team organized a friendly cricket match against the Jeyawardenapura Medical Faculty Cricket Team. The event took place at the University Grounds on the 3rd of August, 2024.
The day’s activities commenced at 8:30 AM with a warm welcome extended to all guests. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the oil lamp. The match officially began at 9:30 AM, with both teams displaying exceptional skill and sportsmanship.
After an exciting and closely contested game, the Jaffna Medical Faculty Cricket Team emerged victorious.
The prize-giving ceremony was held on the grounds immediately following the match. Medals were awarded to all members of the winning team, and achievement trophies were presented to both the winning team and selected outstanding players.
The event concluded successfully at around 5:00 PM, marking a memorable day of camaraderie and competition between the two faculties.
