A Shramadana Program and Tree Plantation event were carried out on 8th of March 2025, 9.00 AM onwards at the Healthy Garden area of the Students’ Wellbeing Centre, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna on behalf of Celebrating the Women’s Day.
It was collaboratively organized by students, Community Health Care Workers, staff from the Family Health Centre, the Department of Community and Family Medicine, and the Centre for Digital Epidemiology (CoDE), Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
The following trees were planted: Jambu, Annamunna, Nelli (Indian Gooseberry), Cassia Fistula ( Laval), Ambarella, Jam Tree, Guava and Aloe Vera.
