The University of Jaffna’s Faculty of Medicine has a Biobank as part of the Centre for Digital Epidemiology, which collects biological samples from people, patients, or research participants while guaranteeing ethical and regulatory compliance.To guarantee that samples stay uncontaminated, we utilise cryopreservation in conjunction with quality control protocols. These biobank facilities aid researchers in better understanding the genetic and environmental causes of disease and in improving healthcare outcomes.
