Enhancing Sexual Health Awareness for the Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) at the University of Jaffna

This programme was conducted at the Arts and Management faculties of the University of Jaffna. Students visited the respective faculties to plan the programme. They discussed their plans with staff and obtained pending approval. Another group visited the STD unit, Teaching Hospital Jaffna, to brainstorm ideas about the content of the programme.

Students prepared the relevant materials by dividing the work among themselves, including the presentation, leaflets, flyers and questionnaires for evaluation.  

The STD unit conducted a training of trainers workshop for the students after which they conducted the programme at the Arts and Management faculties.
