A farewell party was organized in honor of Mrs.Thilaxy, Demonstrator, in appreciation of her four years of dedicated service to the Faculty of Medicine. The event was held at the Students’ Welfare Centre (SWC) and was coordinated by Prof. Balagobi, Coordinator of SWC, and Mr. Kumaran, Coordinator of the Eco-Friendly Project and Healthy Diet Programme.
The programme commenced with a welcome and address by Prof. Balagobi, who highlighted the valuable contributions during her period of service. On behalf of the organizing team, a farewell gift was presented as a token of appreciation. The gift was handed over by Dr. Ramya Kumar, Coordinator of PPDS, in the presence of staff members.
Mr. Kumaran kindly arranged lunch for all participants, contributing to the friendly and cordial atmosphere of the event. The occasion was further graced by the participation of Dr. Ramya Kumar, Mr. Baheerathan (Technical Officer), and staff members from the Dean’s Office, including management assistants Ms. Saranja, Ms. Shopana, and Mr. Sinthujan. Members of the Faculty of Medicine cleaning staff were also present, reflecting the inclusive nature of the gathering.
The event concluded with group photographs taken in front of the SWC, capturing memorable moments of the farewell. The farewell party was a meaningful occasion that expressed gratitude and best wishes to the demonstrator for her future endeavors.
