The inauguration of the Certificate Course in Seminology (Laboratory Andrology) – Batch III, together with the book launch of “Practical Guide to Semen Collection and Sperm Processing for IUI”, was successfully held on Wednesday, 8th April 2026 at the CTRB, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
The event commenced with the introduction of the course by Prof. S. Raguraman, highlighting the objectives and significance of the programme, which was initiated in 2023 and has now reached its third batch.
This was followed by addresses from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Director of the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna, who emphasized the importance of advancing knowledge and skills in the field of andrology.
The book “Practical Guide to Semen Collection and Sperm Processing for IUI” was introduced by Prof. S. Raguraman, after which it was officially launched by the Vice Chancellor to the distinguished guests.The event concluded with refreshments, and the first day of the course commenced on the same day, marking the beginning of academic activities for the new batch.
