Prof. C. Sivagnanasundram Memorial Oration 2026 was held on August 28, 2026 at the Hoover Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
Prof. A. J. V. Chandrakanthan from the Faculty of Theology, University of Toronto, Canada, delivered the memorial lecture titled “Ethical Perspectives on the Influence of Religion and Culture on the Delivery and Reception of Medical Care within the Tamil Community”.
The event commemorated the contributions and legacy of Prof. C. Sivagnanasundram and provided an opportunity for academic reflection on the influence of religion and culture in healthcare.
