A Resource Person Consultation Meeting was conducted to obtain expert guidance on the development of Module 1: Trauma-Informed Approaches of the SheRise Survivor Panel Capacity Building Programme under Work Package 1 of the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The consultation brought together specialists from relevant fields to discuss the proposed content, learning objectives, training methods, and key areas that should be incorporated into the module. The discussion emphasized adopting a trauma-informed, participatory, and survivor-centred approach, focusing on emotional wellbeing, self-confidence, resilience, leadership, communication, legal rights, digital safety, financial literacy, vocational adaptation, and understanding available health and social support systems. The recommendations provided by the resource persons will be used to strengthen Module 1 and ensure that it is practical, contextually relevant, and responsive to the needs of women participating in the SheRise Survivor Panel Capacity Building Programme.
