A workshop on Perinatal Mental Health and the official launch of the Tamil translation of the book “அன்னையர் உளநலம்” were successfully conducted today by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, in collaboration with the Regional Director of Health Services (RDHS), Jaffna.
The book was formally launched by Dr. Singaravelu Kumaravel, Acting RDHS – Jaffna. This was followed by a workshop session facilitated by Dr. S. Sivathas, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Dr. S. Raguraman, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
Medical Officers of Health (MOH), Public Health Midwives (PHM), and other healthcare staff actively participated in the programme, contributing to its success.
