Applications for the Dr. Nagaruban Arumugam Memorial Scholarship are invited from students of the 44th Batch (2020/2021) of the Faculty of Medicine during their elective appointment period up to 26th March 2026.
This scholarship is awarded to two students who opt to undertake electives in clinical fields such as Medicine, Surgery, Obs & Gyn, Paediatrics, and Psychiatrics (one for Paediatrics and one for other clinical fields in rotation).
Preference will be given to students who choose to undertake their elective overseas in the South East Asian Region. Selection will be based on performance at the First and Second Examinations of the Medical Degrees and financial need.
Those who are interested, please download or collect the Application Form from the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna and email the filled application to spacfm@univ.jfn.ac.lk with a copy to electivemedicine@univ.jfn.ac.lk on or before 26th March 2026.
