University of Jaffna will entertain applications from the qualified persons for the above post.

Qualifications

Para-Medical or Science-Based Qualified Graduates from the following categories:

1. A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
2. A Second Class (Lower Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
3. An ordinary pass in the B.Sc. Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
4. An ordinary pass in the B.Sc. General Degree Examination with a recognized postgraduate qualification in the relevant field.

Note: Priority will be given for the candidates having hands-on experience in the field of molecular biology with an excellent track record on scientific research, IT skills, statistical analysis and good command in English.

Salary scale:

• A fixed monthly salary of Rs.85,305/= subject to a deduction of Rs.8,906/= as an unpaid amount, in accordance with Commission Circular No.02/2025 (i) dated 04.04.2025. In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by the University Grants Commission applicable to the post will be paid.
