A stakeholder review meeting with lunch was successfully held on 9 June 2026 under “Project Amuthasurabi” at the Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders to review the progress, achievements, and impact of the programme. A major highlight was the presentation of a compelling success story from the pilot project implemented in the Pooneryn area, demonstrating the effective application of implementation science in translating evidence-based interventions into meaningful community action.
The presentation showcased the strategies used to overcome implementation challenges, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and achieve measurable improvements in child nutrition and health outcomes. Participants reflected on valuable lessons learned, discussed critical factors that contributed to the programme’s success, and explored opportunities for sustaining and scaling up effective interventions in similar settings.
