The one-day Univesity of Birmingham Certificated course on Leadership and Management for Healthcare providers, who are looking to progress in their career and to develop the skills, which is needed to supervise or manage a team was held on 02nd of November 2022 at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
The course was conducted by the Professor Arri Coomarasamy from the University of Birmingham, UK. Professor Arri had significant experience in leadership as the Director of the largest miscarriage research centre in the world, the Tommy’s National Centre for Miscarriage Research, which is a partnership of University of Birmingham, University of Warwick, and Imperial College London, as well as the Founding Director of the University of Birmingham WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Women’s Health.
