Call for Scholarship, Bursary and Awards for 43rd Batch

Applications are invited from the students of the 43^rd  (2020) Batch for the above Bursary.  The criteria for applying this bursary is as follows –

“To be awarded annually for a period of one year to the most deserving Medical Student, who needs financial assistance on his/her completing the First Examination.  Preference may be given to a student who has lost his/her father”

Students are requested to submit the applications on or before 04^th  January 2023  to the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine.  The necessary forms are available here.

The above award is awarded to a student in the Faculty of Medicine who had been judged as the best in extracurricular activities among those who obtain second class at the First Examination for Medical Degrees 43^rd Batch (2020). All students who have completed the First Examination are eligible to apply for the above award. Those who wish to apply are requested to make their applications giving all particulars that are required to reach the office of the Dean on or before 04^th  January 2023.

This Bursary to be awarded to “Most needy student who has completed the first Examination for Medical Degrees from Anaikoddai or Jaffna Peninsula”.

The students who are eligible to apply for this bursary are requested to apply in the form available here, Faculty of Medicine together with your family income details on or before 04^th  January 2023.

The award is awarded to a financially most deserving medical student annually at the beginning of the Para-clinical course.

The endowment is awarded for a deserving medical student at the beginning of the Para-clinical course.

The students who are eligible to apply for this endowment are requested to apply in the form available here on or before 04^th  January 2023.

 The students should submit the following documents with their applications.

                Income Certificate –

1. 1.    Salary particulars/ Pension particulars
   2.    Letter from Grama Sevaka/AGA

Applications are invited for the above award from the Students of  the Faculty of Medicinewho are  obtaining neither Mahapola nor Bursary. Also the students Should have passed the First Examination in the first attempt.
