A brainstorming session on developing a research center for Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna was held on 6th of December 2022 at the Boardroom of Faculty of Medicine. The event was coordinated and facilitated by Dr. S. Kumaran and chaired by Prof. R. Surenthirakumaran, Dean, Faculty of Medicine.
The resource person of the event was Prof. Krish Niranthirakumar from University of Birmingham – UK. Academic staff and demonstrators of Faculty of Medicine was participated in the session. The decision to establish the centre on March-2023 was made in the event.
