Qualifications:-
Pre-intern medical officers :
Those who have completed the Final MBBS Examination.
OR
Para-Medical or Science based qualified graduates :
I
A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
II
A Second class ( Lower Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
III
An ordinary pass in the B.Sc Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
AND
The graduates those who have an excellent track record on under undergraduate research, publications, IT skills, statistical analysis skills, and English Language skills.
Post of Temporary Scientific Assistants
Salary scale: Rs. 48, 385/- (Fixed) pm
Qualifications:-
Para-Medical or Science Based Qualified Graduates from the following categories:
I
A First or Second Class (Upper Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
II
A Second Class (Lower Division) in a Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
III
An ordinary pass in the B.Sc. Special Degree Examination in the relevant field.
IV
An ordinary pass in the B.Sc. General Degree Examination with a recognized postgraduate qualification in the relevant field.
Note: Having an excellent track record on undergraduate research, publications, IT skills, statistical analysis skills, and English Language skills will be given priority.

Also, applications with scanned copies of all the documents should be sent to the following email address: fomvacancy@univ.jfn.ac.lk .Submission of Applications will not be entertained in person.
Prescribed application form downloaded from the website must accompany a paid bank slip for the deposit of a sum of Rs.100.00 credited to the People’s Bank Account No (Ref No): 970000090000387 in favor of Bursar, University of Jaffna. Please note that payments cannot be made online for this purpose.
Applicants from the University System/ Government Departments/ Corporations and Statutory Board should channel their applications through the Head of respective Institutions but may send an advance copy in the first instance. However, no such applicant will be considered for interview, if the application channeled through the Head of the Department is not received.
Illegible & incomplete applications, and applications received by the University after the closing date will be rejected without intimation.
