The Andrology Laboratory at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, offers comprehensive services dedicated to diagnosing and treating male infertility. Now refurbished and newly equipped, it is located at the new clinical teaching and research complex, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna. Staffed by experienced professionals in the field of male and female infertility, a trained Andrology technical officer and research fellows. we provide essential support to individuals and clinics seeking solutions to male reproductive health concerns.
Services Offered
- Routine Semen Analysis: This is the most basic and first step in determining fertility. It involves a sperm count, analysis of sperm shape by measures of strict morphology, and measuring sperm motility (movement).
- Semen Processing Services: Utilizing advanced techniques, we offer semen processing services aimed at optimizing fertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF)

- Studies on Seminal Fluid Parameters:
