The 44th batch of medical students from Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna has initiated the establishment of a visionary committee to enhance public health and social welfare in the Jaffna MOH region on October 30, 2024. This committee will comprise distinguished officials from various key institutions, including the District Secretariat, Sri Lanka Transport Board, Provincial Education Department, Divisional Secretariat, Railway Station, and the Private Bus Service. By uniting these representatives, the committee aims to engage directly with the community to identify, address, and manage prevalent health concerns and social challenges more effectively.
