The “Santhy Pooja” for the newly constructed Eight-Storied Clinical Department building at the Faculty of Medicine was held on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. The ceremony was held at the new building located in Jaffna Town.
The Milk Warming ceremony was held on November 24, 2023. Various dignitaries graced the occasion, including the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna, Deans of the faculties, Director of Teaching Hospital, Jaffna, Academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine, Consultants from the Teaching Hospital, Jaffna, Registrar, Works engineers, Bursar, other Administrative staff of the University of Jaffna, Capital Works and Planning Team, Non-Academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine were present for the Milk Warming ceremony.
The success of the event was made possible through the support of the Non-Academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine, Contractors, efforts of the maintenance section of the University of Jaffna, and the Capital Works and Planning division. Their collective contributions have played a success and the smooth functioning of this event of the Faculty of Medicine.
